My client, was looking for an illustrator to create a limited edition Valentine's Day t-shirt design for their company, MariMart, a cannabis dispensary in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. This was going to be a collectible piece - only 100 shirts to be produced - combining Valentine's Day romance with cannabis culture in a sophisticated, whimsical line art style. I created a hand drawn sketch as per clients' brief, which was demanding a bicycle rider carrying some roses and cannabis in his basket. I came up with adding a rose in the figure's mouth attributing the Valentine's Day romance. Made the freehand sketches on Procreate with stylus pen then vectorized the design on Adobe Illustrator. It was fun to work on this one.
